About the opportunity
The Manager will lead the analysis and presentation of BHN’s programme, learner and organizational results. The role will convert verified data into useful dashboards, management insights and credible impact reporting while maintaining clear definitions, source lineage and data-quality controls.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BHN’s impact data model, indicator definitions, reporting calendar and analytical priorities.
- Consolidate, clean and analyze data from programmes, BHN Academy Germany, surveys and approved organizational systems.
- Produce dashboards, performance summaries, impact reports and decision-ready analytical briefs.
- Establish data-quality checks, source documentation, version control and transparent treatment of missing or limited data.
- Manage recurring analysis on reach, participation, completion, certification, progression and programme outcomes.
- Work with Programme, Academy, Finance and Partnerships teams to connect resources and activities with measurable results.
- Supervise or guide analysts, officers and volunteers contributing to data and reporting work.
- Ensure reporting is accurate, proportionate and does not overstate attribution, reach or value.
- Apply privacy, consent, security, safeguarding and responsible AI requirements to all data products.
Person specification
Essential
- Relevant degree or substantial equivalent experience in data analytics, statistics, economics, monitoring and evaluation, information systems or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing complex datasets and producing dashboards or impact reports.
- Strong command of spreadsheets and at least one analytical or business-intelligence tool.
- Ability to define indicators, assess data quality and communicate limitations honestly.
- Strong written English, data storytelling and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage recurring deliverables and coordinate contributors in a remote environment.
Desirable
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Python, R, SQL or comparable tools.
- Experience reporting for donors, nonprofit boards, partners or international programmes.
- Knowledge of education, workforce, community-development or digital-transformation indicators.
- Experience designing ethical data workflows for vulnerable or underserved communities.
