BHN Academy Germany provides free, job-related training and learning opportunities through its non-profit workforce development programme operated by Bechem Humanitarian Network (BHN) e.V. Germany, as part of its non-profit mission to empower 2.5 million youths and women across Africa by 2040.
Eligible participants receive full, no-cost ($0-cost access) to industry-recognized certifications and professional learning pathways delivered in official partnership with leading global technology organizations, including Google and DataCamp.
Our fellows gain exclusive, fully funded access to specialized tracks such as Google DeepMind AI Research Foundations, Google Professional Certificates, and DataCamp’s comprehensive Data Science and Machine Learning Career Certifications.

Workforce Development
The BHN Academy was established by Bechem Humanitarian Network (BHN) e.V. to address the growing gap between global demand for digital talent and the limited access to job-ready skills faced by underserved communities. As a non-profit workforce development programme, the Academy removes financial barriers by providing free access to high-quality, industry-aligned training to underserved learners across Africa.
Rather than creating proprietary courses, BHN e.V. focuses on enabling free access to existing, world-class, industry-recognized training through structured workforce development pathways. This approach ensures participants gain practical, employment-relevant skills aligned with real labour-market needs.
Equitable Workforce Development
In many communities, capable and motivated individuals are prevented from acquiring job-ready digital skills due to financial and structural barriers. BHN Online Academy addresses this challenge by providing free, non-profit sponsored workforce training and career development services. Potential—not privilege—should determine access to opportunity.

In addition to technical training, participants benefit from one-to-one or cohort-based mentorship, and career-focused learning pathways facilitated by experienced professional volunteer mentors from Europe, North America, and Africa, preparing them for real-world workforce opportunities. All services are provided at no cost as part of BHN e.V.’s non-profit mission.
