About the opportunity
The Manager will lead the coordinated development of BHN Academy Germany’s learning and workforce pathways. The role will align digital curricula, certifications, mentorship, career services and partner opportunities with scholar needs and measurable progression outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage Academy plans, priorities, targets, risks and performance reporting.
- Oversee curriculum pathways, quality standards, learning access, mentorship and career-development activities.
- Coordinate Academy Operations, Scholar Success, Mentorship and relevant partner-administration work.
- Use participation, completion, certification and progression data to improve learning pathways and support.
- Strengthen connections between professional learning, projects, mentorship, internships, employment and further study.
- Coordinate with learning partners and internal departments to ensure responsible use of opportunities and resources.
- Work with MEL to establish credible outcome measures and with Digital Transformation on reliable learning systems.
- Prepare management updates and represent the Academy in approved stakeholder engagements.
Person specification
Essential
- Relevant advanced degree or substantial equivalent experience in digital learning, education, workforce development or programme management.
- Experience managing online learning, professional certification, scholarship or workforce-development programmes.
- Strong understanding of learner journeys, curriculum pathways, retention, completion and career progression.
- Ability to manage distributed contributors, priorities, partners and performance measures.
- Strong analytical, English communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Commitment to equitable learning access for underserved communities, women and youth.
Desirable
- Experience with learning management systems and major online learning platforms.
- Experience with career services, employer engagement, mentorship or digital credentials.
- Experience managing education partnerships with universities or technology companies.
- Experience in international-development or nonprofit education
